Re: mechanic's lien
If you plan to do this yourself, you will need to know the Colorado lien statutes and the related case law in considerable detail. They are fairly complicated. Then you may consider paying for the forms and guides from Bradford Publishing.
Remember, the lien statutes are very strictly construed and you must follow the terms and time periods to the letter. One mistake and you can lose your lien rights, at the least. The worst is that you lose your lien rights and are liable for damages. Either learn the law perfectly or contact an attorney. Making a mistake here is costly and much more expensive than getting accurate legal advice Good luck.
