Legal Question in Business Law in Colorado
I am a member of a partnership LLC with 2 total members in Colorado. I need to leave the LLC. Does it need to dissolve or can there be a filing to allow me to leave. Can there also be a filing to add a new member?

No, it does not need to dissolve. You can leave by just withdrawing but you may want to have a release and indemnification. Yes, a new member can be added pretty simply. It depends on the terms of the oral or written operating agreement. There may be tax consequences. In short, you and the LLC should talk to an attorney.
