Legal Question in Business Law in Colorado
Hello, I recently entered into a verbal business partnership with a small company.
I invested over 3 months of part time work into this project, only to recently have things come to a sudden end.
The "operating agreement" was in process but I never signed. I have both other partners as witnesses as well as their lawyer that witnessed the communication with me as wanting to bring into their company.
Do I have a leg to stand on to try and obtain any compensation and/or buyout?

Based on your limited facts, I think you have some basis under contract or promissory estoppel theories. You also have some leverage on an employment basis depending on the facts.
I recommend that you speak with a business attorney so they can negotiate this matter and draft a good agreement.
