Legal Question in Business Law in Colorado
Sports' logos used in artwork (paintings)
I am an artist who paints children's decor. I frequently paint various sports' logos in my artwork. Am I legally allowed to advertise this artwork (via brochures, website, etc.) or could I be accused of copyright infringement? Thank you for your time!

Sports logos are covered by trademark, not copyright. Trademarks may be reproduced in limited situations without infringing the trademark owners rights. The law is complicated enough that you should talk to a trademark specialist.
