Legal Question in Business Law in Colorado
Start-up Business
I'm looking at investing in a start-up multi-media litigation support business with a couple of friends and I would like a lawyer to review all documentation to make sure this is not a scam. What type of laywer would I pursue and is there anyone you could recommend in the Colorado.

Ideally, you should talk to a lawyer in your area with business start up experience.
I am in Frisco if that is close enough.
If not, the yellow pages under Law-business or contract- should be a lead.

I agree pretty much with Eric Fisher's reply. I would recommend that you obtain an attorney that has experience with business law (which I do). Please be aware, however, that a thorough document review can take hours, which means it could cost a fair amount of money, and that would not include the time and cost involved in negotiating revisions to documents. Many people think that document review is a fairly simple process, which it often is not.
