Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Colorado
childrens civil rights
I took my 7 year old son to a concert at a local venue, an hour after the concert had started I was informed that my son would have to leave. I was only told that the manager had stated that he had to leave, no other reason was given. The venue refunded the price of his ticket. There were other children at this concert but my son was the only one made to leave. Were his rights violated?

Re: childrens civil rights
It's difficult to tell, because you don't describe any behavior or the ages of the other children. But generally, though, unless your son was evicted because he is black, or a Muslim, or a visitor from another planet, the management of a private venue is within its rights to ask any patron to leave.
