Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Colorado
eBay member interferred with my eBay business by contacing bidders/potential buy
I purchased the rights to sell ready-made websites and listed several on eBay. One man who had purchased such a site from someone else believes the sites are a fraud because he has not earned any money from his site...but he has done nothing to promote it, etc.
I listed several of my websites for sale on eBay...and he contacted the bidders telling them not to purchase the sites. I have lost quite a bit of money because of this and he has interferred with my right to do business.
Also, he has sent me emails with profanity in them after I sent him an email asking him to stop writing to potential purchasers/bidders of the websites. He also has told me that he will do the same with anything/everything I attempt to sell on eBay.
I paid quite a bit for these resale rights and now I cannot sell them or anything else on eBay. This has caused me stress and depression and has interferred with my right to do business.
I have notified eBay of this man and what he has done and all eBay has done is send me a form letter saying they will look into it.
What is my recourse?

If you can figure out where this man lives, you can ask a local court to issue an injunction against him. You'll have to retain local counsel, provide a record of everything he has been up to, and make a good case that he is intentionally and unreasonably interfering with your legitimate business. I would first consult a local lawyer, who can look into the facts of your case. Try a medium-sized firm with offices in your state and the state in which this man lives,--you'll save a few quarters.
