gifts from a ex boyfrien

my ex boyfriend gave me money and paid some of my bills ...now he wants his moeny back but i Never asked him to do any of this...he got lawyer to write me a letter..they want me to sign something that i owe hin 4500.00..do i have to pay this back?

Don't under any circumstance sign anything his lawyer prepares for you. He cannot successfully sue you for the return of gifts. If they could, the lawyer (who should know better, and is helping to give lawyers their bad name) wouldn't be trying to get you to acknowledge a debt he and your ex-boyfriend know doesn't exist.
