Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Colorado
lemon law
I bought a car from a used car dealership and asked them before i purchased the vehicle if they used autocheck he said yes that it cost $15.00 but the vehicle had never been in a accident. After i bought the car the cruise control and the seat were broken. he said they would fix it but the next day the finder fell off so we looked it up on autochck and found out it had been in a collision. We did buy the cas as is but do we have any protection or can we return the car? What legal ascion can we take if any?

Re: lemon law
If you can prove that the dealer told you he used Autocheck and that it showed no accidents, then you could sue the guy for fraud.
A better approach might be to tell the dealer you are willing to believe he misread the report, if he is willing to take back the car and refund your money in full.
Otherwise let him know that you will contact the Colorado Attorney General Consumer Fraud Division, file a lawsuit, and tell everybody you know to tell everybody they know what a dirty lowdown scumbag dealer he is.
Good luck.
