Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Colorado
Liens
I have a customer who will not pay. We did a restoration job on his home for water damage that was paid to him by the insurance company. Can I put a lien on his home?

Re: Liens
If you have a contract for the work with the owner or his agent, you already have a lien under Colorado Revised Statute 38-22-101. You need to file any action relying on that lien within six months after the work was finished.
Good luck.
