police harassment

my friend was arrested in her home by two officers. they didnt show a warrant only said they had one for a DUI once they had her in the car they said it was for FTA and took her in. almost a week later two more officers came and arrested her husband in their home. when they answered the door the cops asked if the husband was fred he said no and began to close the door the cops pushed through the door and started to arrest him they also used a tazer they then told him he had a warrant for FTA. when she was getting him released they said they made a mistake but now he has a ticket for FTA. were their rights violated? or can cops do this
