Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Colorado
Protocols and guidelines
I was wondering if a city police departments rules and regulations as far as applying what they can & can not do in certain situations/or procedure to follow in any & all situations would be available for the public or someone like me to just go in and pick up. Or maybe at a library etc. Is that something the public can view (police protocols and regulations etc.) ? If so, how would i go about accessing something like that, or who would i need to talk to in order to request something particular like that?

Re: Protocols and guidelines
Some police department manuals (for example the Denver Police Department Operations Manual) are online; just google for it.
Another time-tested technique is to ask: call the department you have in mind.
