Hi. I just found out that someone i know got my password to my email and was getting into my email address. I did change my passwords, but can I press charges at all?

Hacking is a federal crime. But, if someone "got your password" somehow (looked over your shoulder, got it from your friend, looked at your post-it note on your computer, or other possible ways), it is probably not a case that federal or state prosecutors would pursue. However, if you were damaged, you can pursue a case in civil court against the offender.
