Legal Question in Technology Law in Colorado

Taking an Website to Court

What are my options in taking an online company to court in this situation?

A website has accused me of cheating, wrongly, in an online game. Not a big deal, right? Wrong. I have been posted publicly as a ''cheater'' WITH my IP posted as well and they refuse to take it down, even though I have caught them in numerous lies trying to cover themselves. As a reslut of this I have been threatened by someone in the community that they are going to hack my computer and destroy it or steal from it because of this website posting my IP. I can prove I did nothing wrong, and they CANT prove I did do anything wrong.

Is this slander? My name in an online world of thousands is ruined and I fear for my computer security because of it. They continue to post my personal IP publicly and lable me as a cheater, and they simply call me a ''liar'' and have blocked me from communicating with them.

What are my options?

It sounds to me like you have a good case here, but I would need to know much more. I focus on Internet consulting and litigation.
