Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Colorado
bad business/legal rights
A leasing agent at our apartment complex told us we could give a 30 day notice when our house was ready to be moved into. We didn't get that in writing and our contract doesn't state that either. However, the complex was doing a penalty-free 30 day notice for a while which is why the leasing agent mistakingly told us that. They won't budge- Would I be breaking any laws if I stand out front, on public propert or across the street and let potental renters know our situation? I have no intentions of lying to anyone or causing a disturbance.

So long as you don't impede customer entry, there is no law that says you can't tell people your story.
Good luck.
