Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Colorado
collecting driver's licenses
A patron to a night club who is under the leagal drinking age (18) goes to a night club that allows those under 21 but issues wristbands to those that are. However they take the license of those under 21 for the duration of the time they are in the club as well as visible marking the hands indicating underage. Can they take a person's license? What about the potential for identity theft?

Re: collecting driver's licenses
They can't take it, you have to give it to them. If you don't you can't stay. The Choice is yours. As for identity theft, that is something to consider which is why you may want to avoid that place until you at least turn 21.
Good luck.
