What steps at what time intervals do I need to follow under colorado lein law as a contractor to make sure I get paid by the homeowner?

This answer is entirely dependent on the specific facts of your matter. The answer may vary if this for single family, multi-family, public contract and other issues.
The timelines are very strictly construed and need to be followed exactly. The terms of the intent to lien and lien statement in addition to service must be done previously.
