Legal Question in Construction Law in Colorado
I live in colorado, I recently closed on a new home construction, I took out the construction loan and hired a builder to start an finish the project, The builder is currently 50% (200k) over budget from his original estimate of the full set of plans that were appraised an approved by the bank. Our contract has an abitration clause, I still dont have a door bell or light fixtures etc etc he still wants to charge me. do I have any legal grounds to take him to abitration and recoup some of my money
Thank you

Without seeing the agreement and the arbitration clause, all one can say is maybe. Given the amount of money at issue and the possible breach of the agreement by the builder, I strongly recommend that you contact an attorney about your rights and options.
