How long after a contractor breaches contract and is informed that he is fired does he have to pay back any money that was given to him in Denver Colorado

I am sorry, but you misconstrue the nature of contract law. Your rights are based on the contract terms and the facts. Unless your contract specified that your notice of being fired would require repayment, the contractor does not have any duty to return any money to you. They may claim that the amount paid has been spent, that you breached the contract, and any number of other claims. In short, they are not about to just pay back the money you paid. That is especially the case if you do this yourself.

I strongly recommend that you speak with an attorney to review the contract, the facts, and advise you on what to do as you may have already created problems in this matter that did not serve your best interests.
