Legal Question in Consumer Law in Colorado

bought a used car that doesn't work

I just purchased a used 2000 Blazer from a dealership on Nov. 25, 2000. The second day I had it, I had trouble starting it. I made an appointment with the service center and had them look at the car, and they told me nothing was wrong with it. I brought the car back home again and the next day the car wouldn't start at all. I had to have the car towed back to the dealership again. They have now had the car since last Friday. The car is still covered under a full bumper-to-bumper warranty, but this has been a huge hassle. Do I have any right to ask the dealership to reduce the price of the vehicle a couple thousand dollars?

Re: bought a used car that doesn't work

This will be governed by your contract. Bascially the contract probably permits them to repair the car. Also you probably bought it as is. You can ask them to reduce the price, but the dealer probably will not do it.
