Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Colorado

can attorney's keep asking for later dates on court order mediation, for lack of receiving supporting documents, they have had 4 months to receive. first end to all mediation was scheduled by judge for Nov 2009. The debt is not mine, have supplied every thing asked for, 2 times requested the judge to dismiss or rule. Both time he's denied it, and granted the extention requested. In Apr., it will have been 6 years that this company claims this debt was done.

Either party can file can motions that are allowed under the rules of procedure. It is up to you to contest the motion and the judge will either grant or deny those based on the law and their scope of discretion.

As to the statute of limitations, the statute stopped running once they filed suit. This suit could drag on for years more and that means nothing as to the statute.
