I don't think so! They certainly can't GET more and they probably should not have been asking for that much. The people who sought the garnishment must have lied -- or at least guess badly -- to get that set up. Normally one cannot garnish every last dollar of anyone's wages, and at least some stream of the wages are protected because people need to eat and live on a minimal amount; however, maybe she has so much money in the bank or so much investment income that the rules can be applied in a different manner for her.
