Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
What is 35b, and how does it work? My husband lost in trial and was just sentenced to 18 yrs in prison. No he didn't kill anybody, and we don't even know how he lost due to lack of evidence. They're starting the appeal process, but can 35b be done as well as 35c and I still get the 35b thing, but I understand 35c I think.

A 35(b) is a motion for the judge to reconsider the sentence. You must file it within 120 days of sentencing, or you lose the opportunity to do it, and as a practical matter you need to present additional information to the judge to hive him/her a reason to do so.
