Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
3rd degree assult
My so called friend was beating her kids i told her to stop she attacked me she bit my daughter she bit me and i had to hit her to get her to stop bitting me. This all happened at my house now 2 weeks later i have police looking for me because she pressed charges. Can i still press charges on her?

The police are looking for you? Are you hiding? It's not too late to report the assault against you and your daughter, though you will have suffered a credibility gap, and likely an evidence gap. Take pictures of any remaining marks, and have everyone who witnessed the attack (you, your daughter, and anyone else besides your vampire friend) immediately write down what they remember of the incident.
