Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
I am 17 years old. Two friends and I had gone out drinking and decided not to drive home. We thought better to sleep in the car. Later I. The night, a police officer knocked on the window asking to let him in. I told him I wanted to call my parents before opening l, however he opened the door without my permission. I left the keys outside the car but did have a bottle of vodka in the car. I and my two friends we charged with underage cunsumptuom or possession of alcohol. My question is, was it lawful for the police officer to open the car door by himself. If not should I bring it up with the district attorney? Thanks so much

If you want to discuss your concerns, discuss them with your attorney. If you are representing yourself, you can't expect the District Attorney to pay you much attention.
