Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
I was 11 years old when I got a misdemeanor breaking and entering charge, I am now 29 years old and the courts have begun garnishing my work wages. What is the statute of limitations for this crime and can I stop the garnishments?

The statute of limitations quit running the moment you were charged.
Assuming your question is, "Can they continue to seek restitution 18 years after the fact?," the answer is yes. Restitution orders generally survive time, as well as other usually terminating acts such as bankruptcy. In fact, the criminal code makes restitution judgments essentially perpetual until paid.
