Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado

Advice

My friend is in prison for crime he did not commit. His sentence is 18 years to life. He was the first and only Colorado priest to be tried and convicted. It was an extremely high-profile case and being innocent he did not take it as seriously as he should have. He was offered a plea bargain before trial of registering as a sex offender the rest of his life and the case would be dropped. He refused believing he would be exonerated at the trial. He paid his attorney $100,000 and he was inept at best! He now has no money, is in prison and has a million questions. Friends and family are trying to find answers and help for him. If you just know of someone who might be able to set us on the right path to get him out, please contact me. Or, you can contact him directly and I will give you that information if you respond.

Try David Lane at Killmer Lane & Newman. He is the finest lawyer I know, and may be interested in a case like this.

Good luck.
