Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado

had an agent from drug task force come to my home wanting info about drug interaction at the bar i work at.said my name came up and my phone is tapped.didnt accually ask me anything and i didnt have any info to give.accused me of not cooperating. do i need a lawyer and do i even have to get involved

It is best to discuss with an attorney. I would say nothing to the DTF folks other than "I want an attorney." BTW - you do not have to cooperate. In my experience, usually if the cops are asking questions, they do not have the evidence they need. Keep your mouth shut and stay free.

Yes, you do need an attorney. Deals cut wit the cops mean nothing, my guess is they are trying to get evidence to charge you. An attorney can run interference with the cops, find out what they want and then you can decide what to do. Under no circumstances should you speak to the cops. Good luck.
