Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
Aiding and abetting
My understanding of aiding and abetting is that if you help someone in anyway to commit a crime (finacially, advice, etc..) then you are guilty of aiding and abetting. Here is my question: It has been suggested that illegal immigrants be given drivers licences in order to keep track of them. Giving someone who is here illegally a licence helps them survive and thus helps them to remain here illegally. If our government does this, are they not guilty of aiding and abetting illegal immigrants of the crime of being in our country illegally?

Re: Aiding and abetting
If you think the government wants to track illegal aliens in order to help them, we must not be thinking of the same government.
Bonne chance.
