Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
Animal Creulty Case
I have been charged by the colorado humane society two counts of animal creulty. The animal officer who came out knows nothing of the animals, and his supervisor seems to be out for blood even though there is no proof of abuse or neglect. I know I'm currently unprotected, but until I can get an attorney, what should I do? I meet with the DA again next month, what should I say?

The only thing you should do is immediately get an attorney to handle this. Good luck.

You should talk to an attorney first we offer a free consultation.

Unless the DA indicates an intention to dismiss the charges, you should say nothing except you are getting a lawyer.
