Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
How do I appeal a permanent restraining order in Colorado?
There has been no contact with this person for approximately 15 years, and I am confident there will not be much reason for them to want to keep the order in tact. I am curious to know if this is something which can be handled individually or if legal counsel is required. The order was issued in El Paso County, Colorado Springs Colorado. I currently reside in Denver Colorado.

Contact the division of the court which issued the order. Tell them you want the order terminated. Have them contact the protected person (or have it in the record before you contact the protected person yourself).
