Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
Hello, I was a Asst. Manager for a gas station company, I was fired I am being acussed of stealing 26,455.00 dollars. I did not take any money I had been there 10 years and was good friends with my former boss. He is now almost 4 months later filing a proof of loss under bond with insurance company. 26,455.00 is alot of money. I think had I took that much which I didnt I would be in jail right now. Am i right. When I asked my former employer for proof he gave me some paper with numbers in his own hand writting. He did have a audit in november that was 15,000.00 short and I think he is using me to get money back. Do I need to obtain a attorney?
