Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado

If you ara a juvinile who has been charged with an harrasment charge, and the DA does not have enough evidence to charge you, but select to offer you a plea bargen and you choose to disagree, can they add a charge and if so why?

It's called an "amended complaint" They can do it. Which is also the answer to "why do they do it?" The "plea bargain" is no bargain. The plea they seek is "guilty." nothing else. Take the deal and plead guilty if you want, but it doesn't matter what evidence they have. It will never see daylight and your case will never be tested if you plead.
