Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
Bench warrants
How long is a bench warrant for failure to appear for jury duty. I recently found out, from a job backround check, that I have one. I never received a notice that I WAS chosen for jury duty. I lost that job opportunity because of what they found. Thank you for your time.

Re: Bench warrants
The length of time that the bench warrant for your arrest is active will not answer your problem. If the warrant expires without your arrest, it will still show up on background checks for the next 15, 20 years. Attack it now. That way the record will show some sort of resolution.
