Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
My Brother has a felony
My brother received a felony for assult. Can this be removed from his record? If so, how much time must there be between the conviction and when you can have it removed. This is keeping him from having meaningful employment. It happened in the state of Colorado, but he has moved to Utah and is trying to find work in utah.

Re: My Brother has a felony
The record-sealing law has been changed. The change will take place next spring (I think). Under it, a conviction may be sealed if 10 years have passed with no other criminal conduct, and the DA agrees.
