Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
car theft mechanic
took car to mechanic - no quote ever given - call to us saying car was fixed & we owe $5000.00 - went to shop - car gone, shop gone - property sold. Is this theft? police report?

Assuming you hadn't refused to pay a legitimate bill, no lien, no significant time passed, hell yes, this is theft. Call the police.
