Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
Being charged with a crime and one person taking the blame.
I was on my balcony at my apartment when a friend of mine threw sveral light bulbs from my christmas lights off the blacony on to the street below while I was inside. When the police arrived my friend did not say it was him so we were both arrested and charged. Teh next day my friend said he would go to court in my defense and admit to throwing the objoects. Will this get me off or shoudl I get a lawyer to build a better defense?

You might try taking your friend with you to your next court date and chatting with the DA. You may get a dismissal in exchange for a plea from your friend.
Good luck.
