Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
I was charged with disorderly conduct, and obviously need to get the charge dismissed. I meet with the da for the first time on monday. I need to avoid pretrial supervision (im on probation) . I need this case resolved immediately, should i ask for a (fine, deffered sentence, community service) in order to get the case dismissed? How should i approach the da (counter offer)?

Be careful. If any resolution involves a guilty plea (with a fine, deferred sentence or community service), you will violate condition #1 of your existing probation. You may get a small fine on the new case, but you may later (months later) get your probation revoked and be re-sentenced to jail on the previous case. Get a lawyer.
