Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
i am charged with a 2nd degree assult and dont like the plea offer from the da which is an f5 for menicingso i am thinkiong that i should take iot to trial. my questions is if i do lose at trial is there a mandatory prison sentence or could i possibly get probation i have no criminal history, also when the event happend i turned my self in and was very coopertive so do u feel i would get probation?

There are several 2nd degree assault subsections, so it is hard to answer from this information. But, most of them require prison, like if there is a deadly weapon involved or there is serious bodily injury.
