Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
if you are charged with petty teft in florida and live in another state can i do the jail time in the state i now live in

If it is a misdo or petty offense, the practical answer is no. You can transfer supervised probation from Colo to another state. I don't know vice-versa. If the offense occurred in another state (Fla.), you need counsel from that state.
