Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
Checks signing
My ex fiance is now claiming I stole from him by signing his name to checks to pay our bills during our relationship. He had 100% knowledge and consent but is angry now. Any leg to stand on?

Re: Checks signing
If you haven't been charged (and I can't believe you have been), tell him to leave you alone or you'll file a harassment charge.
If you have, and the check writing went on for more than a month, just point that out to the DA and it should be dismissed, because your jerk fiance would have known what you were doing. If not, get a lawyer to advocate for you.
Good luck.
