Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
In Colorado Springs, CO. Can you be criminally charged? If you take timber from a fallen tree, on a lot, with no buildings and there are no signs posted. Is this a crime?

Certainly could be a charge. The timber has a value, and it belongs to somebody. Seek the owners permission prior, likely doing them a favor.
