Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado

Consipiracy

My boyfriend was just recently sentenced to community corrections for DUI's. He found a job at a local restaurant and had been working there daily. His boss who is the owner has accused him and another employee of stealing $1500.00 from her office. He didn't do it neither did the other guy. They were arrested but nothing was found in either of their rooms. My boyfriend is being held on consipiracy to theft. What can we do?

Re: Consipiracy

It sounds like you need to get an attorney to fight the charges. Public defenders will take the case for free likely because he is in comcorr or jail.

Sadly, innocence does not prevent DA's, Court's or anyone else from bringing charges. I suggest that your boyfriend get counsel and that he not discuss the case with anyone but his attorney - not even you.
