Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
I am a convicted felon. I plead guilty to 4 different (non-violent) felonies in 2008 in CA. I served less than a year in prison and completed parole in 13 months. I moved to CO shortly after completing parole. I use to hunt a lot and was wondering if I could ever hunt or own a firearm ever again. I have heard several different answers to this question such as after 5-7 years all my civil rights are restored or I have to get a presidential pardon in order to ever own a firearm. I'm really looking for the honest answer to this question, please.

You cannot legally own or possess a firearm. You can likely hunt with a bow.
