Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
If someone goes to court for a second advisement and the judge says there sre no charges filed, does this mean that the person is off the hook or can charges still be filed. The DA said the reason there were no charges filed is because the police report was not submitted. If the Officer hands in the report what could happen? Or is it too late for that? I have looked up the person and she shows no pending court dates on that case.

As a practical matter, they have until the statute of limitations runs out to file charges.
