Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
court date
my son is involved in a court proceeding. There is a ''motions hearing tomorrow and his car broke down out of town and he can't get back. I was told he doesn't have to be present for this date. Is that true?

It probably depends on whether he is free on bond. He (or his lawyer) should contact the court and explain his predicament.
