Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
Comes to court putting me in violation of a PRO ?
This person has a Permanent Restraining Order me. I Consented to this not knowing the implications of it as I was Incarcerated and didn't know it was such a big deal. This person also has a Harrasment charge against me in District court. The harassment charge is tied together with a possesion of a controled substance charge for which I was out on bond. I went to my arrraignment to answer the bond and plea not guilty to the charges. I open the court doors and immediately see her. I cannot knowingly be within 100 yards of her. And if I dont stay I will forfeit my bond and an arrest will more than likely be issued. I have already been to jail twice and bonded out. So I left went across the street and called the court. The clerk in courtroom 13 told me the case had not been called yet and I should come to court. I told her my dilemma and she gave the same reply. I asked her if I could s[peak to the judge and she replied, no. When I called back an hour later my Public Defender had done nothing and an arrest warrant has been issued. the PRO was issued for the harrasment. I want to plead not guilty. She is being coached by the DA while I get No help. Can anyone tell how to proceed against this state assisted persecution.

Your question is complicated and may involve some serious consequences if you do not follow the restraining order properly. I must admit, I do not fully understand your question.
