Go to: http://www.courts.state.co.us/chs/court/forms/selfhelpcenter.htm

There you can get the forms to file yourself. Many determine they can't do it themselves. In that case, get an attorney.

I'm guessing first you'd have to commit a crime, then be arrested and charged for it, then be acquitted or make a deal with the district attorney for a deferred sentence.

If you successfully complete a deferred sentence, you can petition the district court to seal all law enforcement records related to the crime from the eyes of the prying public, including some very desirable employers.

The crime itself is not expunged (unless actual innocence is later determined), and law enforcement still has access to the records.

All in all, though, it's really better not to commit a crime in the first place.
