Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
crime spree
My friend had 4 felony convictions in colorado within 13 months of each other is there a way to consider this a crime spree or something? So that he can't be considered a habitual offender??

Re: crime spree
Your lawyer could argue "res gestae" at trial. However, if these are already "convictions" there must have been a guilty plea or trial already. He/she must have had an "habitual" trial, or must have one coming up. The defendant needs a lawyer. He can't go back and fix things later.
