Criminal Defense Question

My husband was issued a ticket for

giving the officer at a casino a false

mexico DL ID. My husband has a

court hearing on Feb 18th and we wanted to know what can happen. We will be starting the process to apply for my husband to get his citizenship papers. We do not want this charge to affect him and to stay on his record. The charge is

18-5-107 2nd degree forged instrument. We will be needing a lawyer to represent him and he is not employed at this time due to the economy. Please Help!!!

Call the public defender's office in your area. Tell them you have an immediate and serious criminal immigration problem. Do not wait till Wednesday to do this.

You need to consult with both a criminal defense attorney as well as an immigration attorney to make sure he does not make a plea decision that will result in a deportation. Good luck.
